 There's a story behind the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Keychain... We offered a version of this keychain a year ago. But as soon as we put it up for sale, the manufacturer withdrew it from the market. It seems it did not work correctly because its pieces were so small and intricate. Rather than return our stock to the manufacturer for a refund, we offered them to die hard keychain collectors as "First Run Prototypes." And we sold out of every single one of them. NEW VERSION, OLD PROBLEM Now a year has gone by, and the manufacture has re-issued them. We're thrilled to be selling them once more, but there's a problem -- The keychain still does not work correctly. Shrinking Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots to keychain size is proving to be impossible. THEY STILL WORK... TO A DEGREE You can make the robots punch with their left and right arms. And you can move them around the ring. But it is hard (or impossible) to lock their heads down. FOR SERIOUS COLLECTORS So once again, we are selling them AS IS. Even in their present state, we think they are wonderful additions to a keychain collection. We expect that the manufacturer will once again take them off the market... this time for good. So if you're interested, buy one before they're boxing history. |
