TAPE MEASURE The only thing worse than guy who isn't handy, is a guy who THINKS he's handy, but isn't. If you know someone like this, the words you dread most, "Don't worry. I'll fix it!" There's plenty to worry about -- Not only don't they "fix it," but they usually manage to make "it" ten times worse. We have the perfect gift for someone in this category -- The Dumb Handyman's Tape Measure. From outward appearances, it appears to be a regular, useful tape measure. But when you pull out the "tape," you'll be surprised that there are no numbers on it. But when you've pulled it out a foot, a picture of a foot appears. Pull it out six inches more, and a picture of a foot-and-a-half appear. A little more, and you'll see two feet. It's not all that useful, but very funny, indeed. Like all good tape measures, it has a locking mechanism and the tape is made of metal. If you give this as a gift, maybe they'll get the point and leave the fixin' to professionals. (But probably not. In fact, they're probably try to fix this tape measure by drawing numbers on it.) |
