| This strange Christmas decoration truly puzzles us. It depicts Santa Claus in an old-fashioned space capsule, apparently in the process of splashing down. For the life of us, we can't conceive a situation where Santa would need to travel in such a way. There's no room for toys... it can only land once... and where on earth are the reindeers? Did he leave them on the moon? And it's because it's so strange that we love Santa's Space Capsule to much. Whoever made it put just as much love into the bizarre decoration -- It it intricately made and beautifully detailed. Santa's Space Capsule measures about 9-inches long (MUCH larger than an ornament) and includes a long, stretchy spring. It's intended to be hung from a door frame or ceiling, so Santa has room to bob up and down. If you don't get any presents this Christmas, it might because Santa has splashed down somewhere in the Pacific and is waiting for Nasa to come fish him out. |
