 
| Hang on to your tallis, it's gonna be a crazy Chanukah. Latke Larry has come to join you for the festival of lights. To call this toy ridiculous would be an act of kindness -- This little fellow looks like an Orthodox Jewish cook, who's just whipped up a tasty batch of potato latkes. He doesn't just look comical. He dances and sings, too. When you press Latke Larry's foot, a really weird musical instrument pipes in with a painfully tepid tune. Then the voice of Jerry Stiller belts out a wildly silly Chanukah tune. The song is so bad, that it is truly funny. Towards the end, the piper joins in again, then Stiller yells at you to stop touching his latkes. Latke Larry is very well constructed, with detailed clothing and a pan full of latkes. He stands about 9" tall and operates on batteries. (they're included, so stop your kvetching) Chappy Chanukah! |
